Not everyone is that gifted. Hence, what do you do? A great method for calves is supersetting heavy partials with full range movements.
As seen in the attached video, IFBB pro Larry Vinette , first does 8 reps on a 10X8 tempo, meaning on the donkey partial calf raises. He pauses 8 seconds at the top of the range of motion. Then after a 10 second break, enough to lighten the weight by roughly 25%, he proceeds to a full range set on a 12X0 tempo.
Usually doing 4 of those supersets does the trick, resting 2 minutes between those supersets.
