Finding 30 minutes a day to purposefully move can be quite challenging. We've got work, families and more to consume our days. To help motivate you, we asked a few Vionic team members to tell us how they're finding time in their day to get active.
“I get up before everyone else in my family and head to spin class. I’m motivated to go every morning because if I don’t, I’ll hear about it from everyone else in the class the next day! It’s total peer pressure, but it works.” - Christina Goebel, Digital Marketing Team Leader
“My job requires me to be active. I’m constantly going up and down the stairs between the two floors of our headquarters. To reach everyone, I’m always walking laps around the building. And, on my lunch, I take a walk down the road to a neighboring recreational area to get fresh air.” – Nyna Durr, Admin Team
“At lunch I walk around the lake by the office three times, and every night I walk my dog around the neighborhood. On weekends we take longer walks to the park.”

“I like to walk to the restaurant. It takes about 15 minutes, then I take a 30 minute lunch and walk back for 15 minutes. Sometimes I even bring lunch and walk for 30 minutes before I sit down to eat.” – Lily Xu, Accounting Team
“We just recently became proud owners of an Airdale puppy. She needs lots of exercise, so she’s got me walking everywhere. Since sitting is the new smoking, I’m actively trying to do less sitting and more walking and interaction with the team.”
